The first version of the website was completed in just a few weeks. Next, Vaihtokaara implemented several significant technical solutions, such as real-time integration with Meta and Google advertising systems and the automation of customer communications.
The website has been continuously developed with a mobile-first approach for new functionalities, as a large portion of Vaihtokaara’s customers browse cars on their phones. Features like the ability to reserve a car and condition reports, which provide valuable additional information to the buyer, are results of the effective collaboration between Vaihtokaara and Fiare.

As the years passed, specific challenges were identified in Vaihtokaara’s daily operations that Fiare was able to address. Salespeople were spending a significant amount of time on routine tasks, such as:
Contacting customers via phone and messages to finalize credit decisions and sales contracts.
Manually applying for credit decisions and delivering remote sales terms.
Responding to chat messages during evenings and weekends.
In particular, the rise of remote sales created a need to automate the process. Customers are increasingly buying cars online, but the traditional process requires several steps from the salesperson before the deal is finalized. Implementing AI AutoAgent and eCommerce on Vaihtokaara’s Site
Fiare has delivered numerous digital solutions to Vaihtokaara throughout their long partnership. The implementation of the two newest products took place in stages during 2025:
- The AutoEcom platform was launched in January 2025. Customers can now complete a purchase independently online, leaving the salesperson’s role to verifying details and arranging the car’s handover. This streamlined sales process can reduce manual work, speed up inventory turnover, and improve margins.
- The AI AutoAgent followed in July 2025. With the agent, salespeople can capture warm leads quickly and efficiently. It serves customers 24/7, improving the customer experience and ensuring leads are not lost to competitors due to slow response times.
The Present: Efficiency and Automation
The car industry is currently operating in a challenging market situation, and Vaihtokaara feels that digital solutions bring much-needed efficiency. Currently, these new tools have been available to customers on Vaihtokaara’s website for several months and have been well-received. Customers specifically use eCommerce for credit applications and the AI AutoAgent to learn more about car features.
The pilot project has shown that these new ways of doing business are already viable in the market. Thousands of Vaihtokaara’s customers have reserved their desired cars via online payment, a function that has become commonplace among car buyers. Of course, product development hasn’t stopped; for example, the credit decision process is still being refined, as automated decisions occasionally require manual processing.
The Future of Trading
Continuous development and the courage to try new solutions set Vaihtokaara apart from its competitors, so a future area of development is the tighter integration of the AI AutoAgent and eCommerce platform functionalities.
