- Badische Zeitung and Fiare join together for new local real estate portal
- The newspaper’s market research identified need for better local real estate options
- Fiare’s services identified as the perfect fit for the objectives
Badische Zeitung, the leading media company in South Baden, Germany, has renovated its local real estate proposition. Wohndverdient.de is the new real estate portal for the region and is powered by Fiare’s white label solution – FiareAds. The smooth collaboration of both companies and the flexibility of FiareAds enabled the platform to be modified to serve German realtors in the optimum way.
Created by the cooperation of leading local real estate providers and the Badische newspaper, the goal was to create a regional real estate market which best served the local people. Wohnverdient.de offers comfortable search and notification functions for users, can be linked to social media channels and is accessible at any time. Soon, regional real estate news will also be found on the site – providing an optimal information platform for real estate in South Baden. Whether you are looking to buy, sell, or rent a property – Wohnverdient.de provides the right offer for everyone.
Fiare’s proposition was a perfect fit for Badische Zeitung for this project, providing this Freiburg-based media company the perfect platform to meet their real estate objectives and monetise an existing area of their site. Notably, Fiare is uploading the inventory of real estate agents automatically using the OpenImmo format. This enables the agents to smoothly show their inventory on the site hassle-free, letting them concentrate on sales work.
Karsten Bader of Badische Zeitung, remarked: “Working with Fiare has been an enjoyable ride. We had a clear vision of what our new real estate site needed to do – Fiare has been able to adapt the FiareAds platform to bring this vision to life. It is exciting to see the new site live and see some of the key numbers already moving to the next level. The feedback from real estate agents has been very positive as well.”
Fiare CEO Tommi Heikkonen, said: “Germany is proving to be a really interesting market for us. It was clear immediately that Badische Zeitung had identified a need and desire to provide people with a better local real estate offering. Our platform is adaptable and has been aligned with the needs of the German market, which is a benefit for any other publishers across Germany considering revenues from real estate or other marketplaces.”
