We’re just months away from one of the most significant changes ever to online privacy, and Fiare has been working hard to make sure we are prepared. The General Data Protection Regulation, better known as GDPR, goes into effect on May 25th, 2018.
Fiare has finalised the changes and additions required to the FiareAds platform in line with the impending legislation. All Fiare clients have been assessed on a case-by-case basis and informed of the recommended changes to ensure compliance with the laws.
After thorough investigation of the roles of both the software provider and the user (as data controllers and processors), Fiare has taken, and will continue to take, the necessary steps to help ensure the protection of its clients and all stakeholders.
