BOOSTING DIGITAL REVENUE TO COMPLIMENT PRINT

To the people of the Carolinas, the name “IWANNA” is synonymous with classified advertising. Since the first edition came out in April 1976, IWANNA experienced phenomenal growth — from a 4-page paper to issues of over 300 pages and thousands of classified and display ads. And they’re still growing. Whether you’re shopping for a new puppy, a used car, or antiques –  IWANNA is the place to start.

Owned by the Fayetteville Publishing Company, one of the nation’s oldest family-owned newspapers, IWANNA is designed to offer buyers and sellers of both new and used merchandise a quick and easy way to reach other folks in local markets. Katherine and Bobby Corn started IWANNA, launching it at their kitchen table and using an old VW Beetle to make deliveries. The concept of free classified ads caught on quickly, and they eventually bought a building and a printing press, expanded their staff, and began thinking about growth.

When they met Fiare, their website had become outdated. They needed a freshen up, as well as implementing features and functionality which could allow the digital side to the business to work in perfect harmony with print. Now the site is fast, easy to use and enables IWANNA.com to earn digital revenue.
